Despite their strong physical presence and transparency, these sculptures are hiding more than they expose.
They deny beeing completely understood. Only a flat surface is visible.-Their exposed surface flush with the ground, they are pointing into an unknown depth towards the centre of the earth. They could be pathways, transmitters connectors to something unknown or one with another. They attract and repel, merge fiction and presence, image and physical reality. Their out-worldly appearance stands in contrast to the handcrafted material, familiar to everyone: casted glass. Their shapes are a blend of organic, human and industrial forms.
